Farm App for Calf Registrations and Farm Management Software

BACKGROUND

Tipperary-based Herdwatch was founded in 2011 by CEO Fabien Peyaud and co-founders FRS Network in response to research that revealed that 90% of cattle farmers did not use any type of herd management software. From there, the first version of Herdwatch was released in Ireland (2014) and the United Kingdom (2016).

The livestock management platform is used on over 18,000 farms in Ireland and the United Kingdom, and digitalises livestock farming, helping farmers save time and eliminate paperwork. Earlier this year, Herdwatch also launched Flockwatch, a platform that helps sheep farmers track ewe and flock performance and streamline compliance reporting.
